Creating Healthy Habits and Nurturing Yourself

As we close the chapter on the past year and step into the fresh energy of 2025, it’s the perfect time to reflect, reset, and recharge. Whether you’re a business owner, a wellness enthusiast, or simply someone looking to prioritize yourself this year, this space is for you. Together, let’s honor the lessons of the past, release what no longer serves us, and step forward into the new year with a renewed sense of purpose, creativity, and balance. I would love to celebrate the power of our resilience and wisdom in knowing that we can reinvent ourselves by invoking our inner wisdom, self-reliance and joy. Reflect: Looking Back to Move Forward

Before we move forward, let’s take a moment to reflect. This is a powerful time to honor what we’ve learned and accomplished, while gently releasing what no longer serves us. Whether it’s an old habit, limiting belief, or unfulfilled goal, this is the perfect time to let go.

The Power of the Breath: Releasing (2 minutes):

Find a comfortable seated position. Close your eyes, relax your shoulders, and begin to notice your breath. Place one hand on your heart and the other on your belly.

Take a deep inhale through your nose, imagining you are breathing in light, clarity, and new opportunities.

Hold at the top of the inhale for a moment.

Now, exhale forcefully through your mouth with an audible sigh, releasing any old thoughts, fears, or habits you wish to leave behind. Repeat this for 5 full breaths.

Journaling Practice:

What were the most impactful lessons I learned last year? What moments am I most proud of? What habits, thoughts, or behaviors no longer serve me and need to be released to create space for new growth? What opportunities am I open to embracing in 2025?


Set aside a few quiet minutes to reflect on the year. Breathe deeply, and honor your journey with kindness. Just write or perhaps record yourself speaking in an app to help your gain clarity and focus.

Next, close your eyes and visualize yourself in 2025. What habits would you like to cultivate? What do you want to learn? How do you want to feel each day?

Write down your intentions and break them down into small, manageable steps. Focus on progress, not perfection. What is possible for you every day?

Align Your Goals:

• Set goals that nourish your mind and your body. For example, maybe it is committing to a weekly yoga or whole body movement practice with me at The Process by Olana, attending one of my special retreats to take a mindful break, booking a bespoke breath-work or meditation session with me for your team at work, eating more whole foods, setting boundaries to protect your energy, being out in nature more, or spending quality time with friends.

Take a deep breath and affirm to yourself:

“I release the old, embrace the present, and step into the future with confidence, clarity, and compassion. I am worthy of health, success, and balance in all areas of my life.”


Let this affirmation guide you throughout the year ahead, reminding you that wellness is not just a practice, but a way of being. You’ve got this—one breath, one movement, one step at a time.
